The "Practice dummy" is realy strong, i never encountered more than 3 enemies.
And the combo on the left works realy nice, and "Hidden sight" is nice help with searching for combo pices, also i love how "Reanimator" helps when you have 2 "Deck swaps" in hand.
For me the glitch happens during and right after winning the forest battle against the racoons. It's a really fun game, so don't be too hard on yourself for this one glitch! Take your time with solving it.
Hey, I'm finding it hard to replicate this crash - If you have it happen again, would you be able to send a photo of the console logs? Also just double checking what version the game says for you? Thanks 😊
I don't exactly know how to access the console logs. That may be because I'm playing on HTML5 but the one thing I do know is that I'm playing on version Alpha v3.3.1

on chrome and firefox (i think its the same on most modern browsers), hit F12 to open devtools. if that doesn't work on your browser, you can probably find the shortcut online. once in devtools, you should see tabs (elements, console, sources, etc). when you open the console after a crash, you should see the error as the most recent console message. it may have a dropdown, I would open that up!

Im sure other people have said this, but at least for me, the screen went black after completing the cave deck, after it said deck completed, it showed me the cards, and after I clicked "next" or "continue" (I forgot what it was called) it went black.
It's a very good start! But could use some better UX/UI, and clearer instructions. It is unclear what the coin does. Also, could use a way to have some hints as to what to expect in the future, to be able to try and plan a strategy. Finally, is there a way to trash cards? (I didn't see it in my run, but maybe I just missed it)
Anyway, I wish you best of luck. Looks like you got some potential for something really fun there.

There is a discard pile on the left, but the only way to permanently remove cards from your deck is to either sell in a shop, or sacrifice on the card altar 🙂
This has gone from "cool idea" to "really fun" with the recent updates.
However...on safari (Mac silicon) it still crashes the page after a while. Maybe this is a me issue, but if other users experience it it might be worth looking into.

Thats vey frustrating it's still happening. It's hard for me to test, because I develop using a PC - do you know when it usually happens? Is it just after leaving the game open for a while? 🤔

I especially mentioned safari since safari also crashes on Reddit for me after scrolling too far, and it’s the whole page crashing, not just the game; however, no other itch game has this effect. If no one else reports this, I would just ignore it, but it might hint at some memory leak issue.

It's been A while since I played and stuff, but you really work FAST so many bug fixes and visual effects added it's like a whole new game! and the healing fountain is better too I think, so thanks for that :) edit: also like poking the table and wood particles come out. 10/10 game of the year
Unsure if bug or just unclear wording: When Martyr's Blade is discarded by another card (notably Card Launcher, I haven't tried it with other things yet), no Ethereal Daggers are created. Is this only meant to happen when manually discarded, and not when discard is forced by another card?
Good pickup! I think card launcher is unique because it fires the cards as projectiles, but I'll double check the other discard cards trigger the martyrs blade properly ☺️
Broo I got so excited when There were new cards at the end of the game! and then it said won game and I was like "noooo" bc I thought there was a new level after the beach now (Btw my main is clockmaster1984 but I can't access it rn TwT)
hey so on the browser version when the title screen loads in and I hit start and then new game the screen just turns black with the 50/50 health at the bottom left. cant click anything after that. it worked yesterday tho. EDIT: now the SELECT LEVEL words are showing up as well as the health. but everthing else is just black.
Ah that's super frustrating! Sorry that's happening - would you by any chance be able to grab a screenshot of the console logs in the browser from when it happens? That should be able to show me if there's an issue I can fix! ☺️

Centipede Spy does not seem to Proc enemies when damaged anymore. Ran through with just a bunch of Clay Golems after fighting a few and not a single one. Thanks for the awesome game!
If you drop a stack of coins on a used move dispenser, it eats them and give you nothing. (v3.2.0 and 3.2.1) It'll also eat your coins if you drop them on it when it's not your turn.
I also entered a shop and was presented with no choices, but refreshed and continued and there were choices again. No idea what the trigger was.
And the game also froze on completing a run. Screenshot of logs for your perusal, Screenshot of game would just be a screenshot of a completed screen, lol.
I noticed (not that it is a big problem) when you use Artists Clay you can duplicate a summon even if it isn't in the playing field and still in your hand. Like I said not a big problem I just know sometimes when I want to use it on maybe a Practice Dummy I accidentally use it on another Golem in my hand.

what if there were classes instead of random cards at the start and the classes you choose had a higher chance in finding cards that suits that class and weapons that don’t match the class are weakened and cards that do are buffed slightly
of course there should be a classic mode so you don’t have to choose a class
(also question is there any way that I could maybe create a copy of the game in the future but modify it? add my own ideas but of course credit you as the original maker kinda like the Isaac modding community.)
I like that idea 😊 I do have plans to make certain cards more likely to occur based on what kind of hand you have, but having specific classes that prioritize certain cards would be cool!
Of course, you're welcome to make your own version of the game if you'd like! I also want to work out a way to allow modding support for the full version - it would be cool to allow people to add their own cards in!
I'm not sure if after the Bottle O' Gas (Blight Potion) update to correct it from not killing at 0 changed it's drop rate as well? It seems to be dropping at a really high rate compared to before. Maybe it's just me?
Thanks for letting me know! There is a bug currently with Blight which I will be uploading a fix for later today - For now, if you go back to the menu and continue your game, you should be able to kill the fox without blight
Another one: When something has fire levels added to (at least, by both Fire Arrow and Flame hand) it they don't visually appear until the first round of fire damage hits the card.
3.1.9 - Using Artist's Clay (there should be an apostrophe, btw. It's the clay belonging to the artist. If it belongs to multiple artists then it's "Artists' Clay". Ditto for "Warrior's Buckler", etc. Not a biggy, I'm just a pedant :P ) on a card can result in a another card being cloned if they overlap and are both valid, even if the AC is dropped on an area where ONLY the intended card is present.

Found another minor text mistake. "Training Course"'s description says "Add +2 damage to a summoned golems" - judging by its behaviour that should be "golem" singular.
After reloading and continuing, I played Reflection on Clockwork Golem again just to check if it was a one time thing. The game froze up again. I am on web version by the way.
Great game as always but I think there should be a button at the beginning that’ll bring you to a challenges tab and different challenges would appear and that’s how you could unlock other cards
Been playing for a few updates now and I've been loving the game!!!!!! Only issue is the crashing. Seems to happen whenever you have no cards in your hand(?) The card laucher is basically unasable :/
But other than that, I'm loving it!!!!! I'm eager to see what will come next ^-^

damn spiky racoons. still can't figure out a good knife strategy. my deck gets way too big.
Those racoons are really tough 😬 try selling some of your cards in the shops as you go, it will help to keep the deck manageable

I've been getting it while building Golems, unless you mean the enemy deck? Both times it happened at the end of the different level 2 decks.

The funny thing is, There wasn't a single bow used in this deck. just lots of golems and swords and daggers

I am having a bug with an immortal fox card. The fox is at 0 health and cannot die. I used blight though idk if it has anything to do with it.

ok people which type of player are you
Brute - uses weapons that weaken the enemy mainly
Archer - bow and arrows for their main weapon
Spellcaster - wands, fire, ect
Warrior - Whatever card deals more damage/defence
Tank - endurance build aka status effects, shields, hp
Summoner - summons ally’s to fight for them and tank damage, heal, and give sheild
Knife thrower - daggers do I need to say more
Arsonist - FIRE (flame arrows, fireball, lightning, anything that sets the enemy on fire and in excruciating pain)
I definitely prefer the "Archer" build personally - really satisfying the amount of damage a good bow and arrows can deal 😊
Personally Im more of a brute player making it so the enemy just cant do nothin’. its kinda satisfying in a way

Great game. Just one issue: I played Reflection on Clockwork Golem and the game froze up.
