Version 2.5.0 - Wands Added!!
Version 2.5.0 tries to explore some exciting new card concepts!
Hey everyone!
Thank you all for your continued interest and support of Dungeon Deck! It has been really encouraging to read all of your comments and feedback, and it's so much fun to engage with you on Discord each day; you have some amazing ideas!
This update brings some balance changes and new cards, as well as a completely new deck build path: Wands.
Wands are a combo weapon
The strength of the new wand card is in the way it combos with other cards in your hand. A wand will begin with a base damage value, but each wand will "Charge" its damage when specific events occur, such as discarding a card, or attacking with a knife! An added complication is that wands can also be "Overcharged", meaning if they exceed their maximum damage, that damage will be dealt to you and their charge will be lost. Additionally, Wand's keep their charge in between levels! I have had so much fun testing these new cards, and I think the concept has some amazing potential for strategy!
Sacrifice is required
The first of many new event cards has been added in: the Card Altar. This event is aimed to provide another way to reduce the cards in your deck. If you come across it, you can sacrifice cards from your hand on the Altar. After a random amount of cards (1 to 5), you will be given a new card equal or greater to the rarity of the cards you have sacrificed! This is a good opportunity to upgrade some of your outdated cards later in the game!

- Added Fletched Drill: Arrow that deals double damage to shields
- Time card added: If a round takes 30 turns, you will receive the Time card. When played, the player and all enemies will be dealt the damage equal to the highest enemy health
- Added Card Altar: Cards can be placed on the Altar to be removed from the deck. After 1-5 cards have been destroyed, a new card of equal or greater rarity will be given to the player
- Icon added to information popup for 'Invincible' cards
- The Graveyard is emptied when a new deck is opened
- Bug Fix: Stopped closing the viewed card immediately when selected on Lucky Draw
- Bug Fix: Stops the player from gaining health after death
