Version 2.4.4 - Bow + Arrow Changes


Version 2.4.4 tries to bring balance to the bow build...

Hey everyone!

In this latest update, I have implemented a new balance for the bow and arrow build in order to both reduce their effectiveness at being good against ALL enemies, while adding some additional strategy to your deck building.


Shields are stronger



Arrows shot from any bow will now only deal half damage against shields. Once this damage has been removed from both the shields and the arrow, the remainder will be applied as regular to the enemy. This change will hopefully work in a similar way that Thorns does against the knife build, limiting the effectiveness of a pure bow build against certain enemies! But this change in itself is not enough; with every nerf there should be a buff...


But shields are also weaker



In order to supplement bow builds, all Ethereal items now deal double damage against shields! This has the added benefit of making Ethereal items serve a more unique purpose, separating them from regular items!
