Version 2.2.3 - New Summon Path
Version 2.2.3 brings exciting new possibilities for the future of Dungeon Deck!
Hey everyone,
Version 2.2.3 brings a bunch of balance changes, as well as a whole new Summon path type! I have also set up a Discord server, so if you are interested in being able to easily contact me for suggestions, or stay up to date with Dungeon Deck updates, be one of the first to join:
Structure Types
Structures are a new type of Summon card that capitalize on the concept of "Passive Abilities". For example, Card Forge will remain on the table until it is destroyed by an enemy, and each time you discard a sword, it's ability will trigger. Structures are unable to gain damage, and will never attack an opponent.
In regards to Passive Abilities, other summon cards have also been added to experiment with different kinds of abilities. For example, the Knife Lover has the passive ability of healing the player whenever you attack an enemy using a knife. This will clearly stack quickly, if you have a hand full of knives.
In total 6 new summon cards, including 3 structure cards have been added to Dungeon Deck. See if you can find them all, and work out some fun combos with them! If they seem like a fun mechanic, I will be adding more soon.
Club Changes
Clubs have had a new mechanic added to them where they will discard all other weapon cards in your hand on use. This was done in an effort to differentiate them from swords, as well as cause the player to strategise a bit around which order to use their cards. In addition, this allows for more possibilites when comboing with passives. Using a club to discard swords in your hand, alongside a card forge, will result in new cards being drawn.

- Summon changes have been reverted, so that enemies can now target them alongside the player, but will not retaliate when attacked
- Clubs now will discard all other weapons in your hand on use
- Made cards easier to click on to view
- The UI prompt telling the player to drag cards into hand now is visible from the start of the game
- Discard, Game, and Graveyard decks are no longer interactable to prevent coins being hidden behind them
- Art for card types has been redone
- Card fonts have been changed to try and improve readability
- Fixed bug: Clicking on a card as it is moving to a deck results in a blacked out screen overlay
- Fixed crash: Missing reference to reward list in Beach deck
