QOL and Balance Update - Version 2.0


Hey everyone,

This most recent update to Dungeon Deck begins the process of making some key Quality of Life changes to the game experience, as well as significant balance changes. Here is a list of some of the changes made in version 2.0:

  • Knives will now behave differently. Instead of damaging based on each knife in your hand, every knife will be used at once to attack an enemy, and then be sent to the discard pile
  • The average damage of knives has been increased
  • Bows are now used differently. When using a bow, a popup list of options for arrows will appear for you to select from
  • The average damage of arrows has been increased
  • All bows now deal additional damage alongside the arrows fired
  • Summon cards can now directly be added to your deck, instead of requiring a "middle" consumable card
  • The game deck position has been moved to open up more space on the table, and deals cards automatically
  • The position of the moves UI has been moved to be above the player hand
  • Total coins are now shown in the UI
  • Interactions with the player hand have been improved
  • Cards will now return to the hand if they haven't been activated
  • The decks can no longer be moved by the player in hopes to make the table less messy
