Love the demo, have won with a lot of different strategies and still finding new ones! Do you have any plans to develop an apple version of the full game?
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you like it ๐ A mac version isn't super high on the priority list unfortunately. There just isn't that high of a demand for it compared to the time it would take to get working. Maybe someday!
Very nice game, it kept me entrateined for a couple of hours, that for a demo is an amazing time.
About the game, balance could be better (on both your card and enemy) but is already in a good spot.
Most of my suggestions would be about quality of life details, like giving more info about keywords (like the explosion ability), and maybe the possibility to see how card can be improved at the camp fire (more then once i didn't risk a card becouse i feared that the power up was actually a downgrade for my deck: i.e. wand into dagger wand).
I like the idea that everything can be moved on the field, but sometimes it can get a little bit chaotic, especially with summon builds, very strong, but when you have 5 or 6 down they start to overlap eachother and it's hard to see what is going on or to target one specific summon (with clay for exemple)
Nice. Beat the game first try. Hundreds of hours on other roguelike deckbuilders helped a ton, of course. Golems are broken.
Very fun. A bit simple, for now, but it's a demo, of course.
If I can say one thing, shops are OP. Like, actually op. Usually in this kind of game you PAY to remove cards. Here you GET paid! I know there is a limit for shop, but even one is a massive improvement for the deck.
Also, I felt like there wasn't much variety, aside from cards. Maybe more power ups, some... choices. I felt the need to have more choices.
Ofc, not every roguelike deckbuilder must be like Slay the Spire or Inscryption or Pirates Outlaws, but... I don't know. I missed the relics and the powers and... something!
Still, I had much fun. Thanks for sharing! Good luck for the project!
Oh, also, would be nice to be able to read the effects of explosion, burn, weaken, ecc... I'm trying out a different build and some of them are not as intuitive to understand in detail.
Plot is bonkers. Summons in general are very very strong.
Fun game. Hope to see more kinds of enemies in the same deck, in the full game, because after a while it gets repetitive to see the same enemies over and over.
The ones I mentioned before are the best, for me! Slay the Spire, Inscryption and Pirates Outlaws. Slay the Spire is basically the father of all these kind of games.
What I like about these three is that you have MANY choices to make. Paths to take, relics to choose, events...
Thank you for playing ๐ I'm glad you liked the demo! Golems definitely are very powerful, but the full game offers a larger variety of enemies and decks, some of which are hard to beat if you're relying on summons!
get summons (armored golem is the best, target dummy is good) then go for the card that gives extra draw the one that gives extra energy and some weapons that weaken all optional
daggers and wands are a good combo too, each dagger triggers the wand upgrade so if you drop one dagger it costs 1 and fills the wand, then wand and get the summon that heals on dagger use.
This was a GREAT game!!!! I just beat the demo with a full golem deck, and I really like it!
If I were to suggest one thing, would be to make it so that there is an actual boss battle (against someone who we haven't fought before) , it felt like I was just beating up on the poor king salamander.
Ethereal Mirror - Reflects the damage that enemies inflict on you for 1-2 turns.
Ethereal Shield - Gives 2 defense to you and your ally's.
Normal Boomerang - Has 75% chance to come back but does only 1 damage.
Upgrades for everything - Ethereal costs some of your life and regular things cost money.
My friend Kloe and I would love to see these things in the game, of course you don't have to make them since they are just suggestions but we would really appreciate it.
Super lovely game, I love to return to it with each update!
I have a few suggestions on the readability of the cards. Sometimes I donโt get the card's explanations. For example, I still donโt understand what the explosion wand does, it says that it deals extra damage in an explosion, but when I attack, it is still 3 — Iโd think that the card explodes. Some enemies have something like "adds spikes to enemies when damaged," I was confused if I shouldnโt damage that card or other enemies. What could help is testing those out with other people to catch those difficult to understand wordings, we do this with art critique all the time! (or maybe itโs just me :p)
Another suggestion would be changing the shape of the letter "w" as itโs easy to confuse with "m," like in wandsโhands. And as the typeface is pretty thick, if you add more space between the letters, they will be easier to read when small.
Thank you for coming back! ๐ And thanks for the suggestions, they're very helpful. I tend to miss when cards are a bit too confusing, so feedback like this is great!
The fonts are definitely an area for improvement. It's one of those things that I would love to spend more time improving, if I had time to spare ๐

To get a card into the Catalogue do you need to use it or just find it?
You need to play the card for it to be added ๐
oh that sucks, anyway great game! ๐
HEALTH FOUNTAIN! I NEED YOU HEALTH FOUNTAIN!!!

Very good game tho, keep up the good work
Hey there, thanks for the feedback! I like your suggestions, and definitely want to add more info around keywords. I'm glad you liked the game! ๐

Won the second run with a wand build.
Plot is bonkers. Summons in general are very very strong.

Hey, Recommend some deck builder games? Took me 20 tries to win this.

Thank you very much! If I will have some money to spend, I'll make sure to check it out!
this game is too hard ive tried at least 10 times and I cant get through the 2nd deck
get summons (armored golem is the best, target dummy is good) then go for the card that gives extra draw the one that gives extra energy and some weapons that weaken all optional

Thank you! I'm glad you like it ๐ The full game has more decks and bosses, and the final deck offers a more "final" boss!
Very addicting, even if I can't seem to get past level 2 ๐
Thank you! Yes the forest level has the hardest boss ๐
I suggest adding:
Ethereal Mirror - Reflects the damage that enemies inflict on you for 1-2 turns.
Ethereal Shield - Gives 2 defense to you and your ally's.
Normal Boomerang - Has 75% chance to come back but does only 1 damage.

Thanks for your suggestions ๐ I like the ethereal mirror idea, that could be very interesting ๐ค
Your welcome, I will stop by to tell you suggestions whenever Kloe or I think of something so expect to see me again
Kloe might make an account, she will tell you when she makes one...she will respond to this comment.
Another friend Lily might join as well
yes I will
a really fun game actually
Thank you!
finally beat this game, such a cool game
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it ๐
Whew, I worked very hard and was finally able to defeat all 3 decks ๐ค That blue guy can't say anything to me anymore!!
Nice! Haha you sure showed him! ๐
How are the cards organized in the book? It's not alphabetical, by rarity, card type, or any other pattern I've noticed.
They are mostly sorted by when they were added to be honest, no real order ๐
i dont understnd what all hands plus + 1 means with lightning bolt
Every wand that you're holding in your hand gains +1 damage (it charges every wand in your hand)
ohhh wands not hands
Nice game, very fun to build your own deck!
The raccoons are a run killer though, i have no idea how to beat them..
Thanks for playing! The best way to beat the racoons is with a deck of bows and arrows, but they are the toughest boss ๐ค
This game is very good, i played for more then one hour and didnt see the time passing by.
Wow, I'm glad you like it! ๐
Thanks for playing!
Love this game! It's really really fun!
Thank you! ๐

This was a lot of fun! I'd love to see a Mac version at some point
